En fait, l\\u2019\\u00e9glise n\\u2019est achev\\u00e9e et consacr\\u00e9e que le 18 juin 1680 sous le nouveau vocable de ND de L\\u2019Assomption. Elle se compose d\\u2019une nef unique, orient\\u00e9e au levant ; la vo\\u00fbte est d\\u00e9cor\\u00e9e notamment par des m\\u00e9daillons et des stucs.\\r\\n\\r\\nSa fa\\u00e7ade se caract\\u00e9rise par un portail en tuf qui \\u00e9voque l\\u2019arc monumental romain, avec une baie cintr\\u00e9e encadr\\u00e9e de deux pilastres portant un entablement dorique surmont\\u00e9 d\\u2019un fronton bris\\u00e9. Le retable fait l\\u2019objet d\\u2019un prix-fait du 3 f\\u00e9vrier 1715 ; pour le prix de 3800 florins (sculpteur : Etienne Jomard de St Jean). Il se distingue par sa forme semi-circulaire et par ses deux \\u00e9tages de colonnes corinthiennes cannel\\u00e9es. En son centre on admire deux tableaux de L.
