Le tour des hameaux, en hiver

Le Corbier

A beautiful hike in the heart of Villarembert, discovering its typical hamlets and mountain heritage.

Description

From the Tourist Office, drive along the buildings towards the bottom of the resort. Once you've reached the La Voie Lactée chairlift ticket office, follow the road towards the hamlet of Le Cruet (below the Goélia - Les Alpages du Corbier residence).
At the P'tite Ferme de l'Aubrac, turn left, passing the chapel of Saint Philomène. At the bottom of the slope, turn right onto a track that rises slightly and enters the heart of the forest. At the next crossroads, turn left down to a stream, cross it to reach the Œillette picnic area. From here, take the path down into the woods past the barbecues on the right. At the next crossroads, turn left, cross the stream and then a footbridge to join a track leading to La Tigny. Turn left onto the road, then right 100 m after the bridge.
Pass the bread oven, then cross the road at the Mairie (town hall). At a bend in the road, take the path that climbs to the left to Les Fromentières. Turn right onto the road, then left to reach Les Crevasses.
At the end of the hamlet, take the path that joins the Plan Chaud itinerary. Cross the plateau, take a downhill path and then continue along the track to the right. Cross the stream on a footbridge, then return to Le Corbier on the track above the riding school.
