In winter, the resort appeals for its convenience and sense of security. Being 100 per cent pedestrianised, it allows families to get about without a car, in complete peace of mind. Thanks to its compact size, everything is easily accessible: accommodation, slopes, shops, entertainment and everyday amenities. The shopping centre brings together all the essential amenities for a holiday with children: a crèche, a doctor’s surgery, a chemist’s, family-friendly areas with nappy-changing facilities, restaurants, shops… Everything is just a short walk away.
As for skiing, the Les Sybelles® ski area offers an ideal playground for families. From the summit of Le Corbier, you can ski down exclusively on green and blue runs, perfect for enjoying the panoramic views whilst skiing at a gentle pace. Behind the Tourist Office, a lovely beginners’ area allows the youngest children to discover skiing in a relaxed atmosphere. To learn whilst having fun, the ESF’s Club Piou Piou welcomes children aged 3–4 into a fun and child-friendly environment, supervised by ESF instructors from Le Corbier. Families can also take advantage of great-value ski passes with the “Tribu & Famille” offers, as well as free access for toddlers.
A sledge area and a host of activities round off the experience: the Haribo sledge race, an introduction to balance bikes on snow, games and entertainment designed for children…
And when the snow gives way to wide open green spaces, Le Corbier becomes a vast adventure playground for the whole family. Open in both summer and winter, the Corbier crèche welcomes children from as young as 6 months in a warm, safe environment designed with their well-being in mind. Games, quiet time, early learning activities and rest periods structure their days, whilst parents can enjoy their mountain activities to the full with complete peace of mind.
For children aged 4 to 12, the kids’ club offers a varied programme of entertainment and activities: large-scale games, creative workshops, sporting challenges, exploring the mountains, outdoor activities and time spent socialising with holiday friends. All this is supervised by a professional and caring team, who ensure the children have a holiday that is as fun as it is unforgettable.
And in the summer, teenagers have their own programme too: Les Moments Ados! Accompanied by a dedicated activity leader, 13–17-year-olds enjoy activities specially designed for their age group: bubble football, archery tag, games and pizza nights, ‘awesome’ outings… to meet other young people and make a real group of friends during the holidays.
